God placed a vision in our hearts over 11 years ago to open our Christian bookstore. To be a light to our city, we have been serving our community by providing a peaceful and relaxing place for everyone in town. We build relationships with our customers and serve them beyond retail sales. Our motto is “You can count on us.” We make every effort to provide products, timely services, and competitive prices. We listen, comfort, encourage, and pray with those in need, and we also direct them to resources to help them overcome their situation. In 2009, we established “Bible Harvest” where people can donate Bibles so we can bless those who cannot afford one. We have seen lives change, including our own, through what God has accomplished through our bookstore.
We have three children, Lori, Kurt, and Harmony, and four grandchildren, Lane, Abi, Kahlan, and Owen. We have been married for more than 19 years.
John is here on Monday, but he has another job with the Indian Nation Wholesale as a delivery driver from Tuesday to Friday. He is also an accountant with Lou Anne Fields, CPA Inc. P.C., our other business located at this site.
Lou Anne is here every day to serve our customers. She is also a CPA for Lou Anne Fields, CPA Inc. P.C., but she is gradually retiring to spend more time in the bookstore!
Our son, Kurt, is our door greeter. You will see him Monday through Thursday at about 3:30 PM, sitting at the front door. He will greet you and oftentimes give you a hug to make your day.
We sell Christian books, DVDs, CDs, Bibles, and a wide variety of gift items from wall art to jewelry, for everyone from newborn babies to those aged 99 and above. We provide hope and love to all who enter our doors. We serve Durant, the Bryan County, and the Texoma areas and also direct ship items to anywhere needed. We also ship to jails and prisons for our customers’ family and friends.
